I first took a deep dive into plant-based living in 2012 when I suffered a severe panic attack in the middle of the night. Thinking I was having a heart attack, I called an ambulance.
After spending hours trying to explain to the doctors that my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest, I was sent home with anxiety medication.
From that moment, I made a conscious decision to take my health and wellness into my own hands.
I began researching natural remedies for anxiety, I also took several courses on wellness nutrition. Eventually, I landed a freelance role as a health writer for one of the biggest online health publications in the world.
My journey into personal growth and wellness began.
I now practice intuitive eating and mainly focus on consuming whole foods with a flexible approach to nutrition.
